Terms of service
Availability of Courses and Rooms are indicated on the website. Please complete your booking and deposit payment to secure a place on your chosen course.
Payment of Fees
Art course fees, breakfast, lunch and dinner and complimentary drinks are all included within the Room rates and are listed on our website. Payment of 20% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the balance is due 3 weeks before arrival. We accept cheques, Visa cards, Master cards and direct deposits into our bank account. Receipts will be provided on receipt of payment.
Cancellation and Refunds
The Blackdowns Artist Retreat reserves the right to amend any course, tutor or schedule. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to provide a substitute of equal standing. Should a course have to be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, any guest booked on that course will be contacted and an alternative class or refund arranged. Fees are non-refundable and non transferable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a course or if your circumstances change.
Photography
From time to time we take photos during a class of students and artworks. These photos are used for The Blackdowns Artist Retreat for promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. These photos will never be sold and will be used exclusively by and for The Blackdowns Artist Retreat. As a condition of booking, your consent is implied. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you or your artwork, please notify us.
Privacy
The contact information you supply to The Blackdowns Artist Retreat will not be disclosed outside the Retreat without your express consent, except where required by law. We do not retain any credit card information that you may provide. The Blackdowns Artist Retreat will from time-to-time post mail and email to guests and past guests for the purpose of marketing. Should you not wish to receive mailings from The Blackdowns Artist Retreat please notify us that you wish to unsubscribe and you will be removed from our mailing list.
